Scott Jennings, the lone conservative voice of reason on CNN, strikes again.
Adam Mockler, a member of the group ‘Meidas Touch’ was droning on and on about the temporary bump in gas prices and saying that voters are going to remember this in November when the big blue wave arrives.
First of all, gas prices have been way down under Trump. Secondly, this kid is from Meidas Touch, which is not a media outlet. It’s an anti-Trump PAC that was formed before the 2020 election to help Joe Biden.
Jennings reminded Mockler that Democrats have been saying for years that they want high gas prices to get people to stop using fossil fuels.

MOCKLER: “This is going to be a big blue wave.”
“It already was going to be before the war in Iran. And this is the most like visceral change that we’ve seen so far.”
“When I drove to the airport today, I passed by two gas stations and I was paying attention. American families are paying attention to this.”
JENNINGS: “I’m old enough to remember when Democrats were advocating for higher gas prices to bring about the end of the internal combustion engine.”
“NOW, all of the sudden gas prices are a big deal.”
MOCKLER: “Wait, which Democrats said they want higher gas prices?”
JENNINGS: “Literally ALL of them.”
MOCKLER: “They said I want higher gas prices?!”
JENNINGS: “Yes! That was the stated policy, to drive prices, up to get rid of the internal combustion engine.”
