The mother of a Washington State middle schooler has gone viral for a video showing her pulling her daughter from the school following an anti-ICE walkout.
The video shows the mother walking into the school as students stream out and gather on the front lawn.
“This is my daughter’s middle school being allowed to protest ICE agents. Disrupting traffic. Having everyone honk.”
“I’m pulling my daughter from school today.”
Once inside the building, she told the school administrators that she wanted to immediately withdraw her child, saying, “I am here to pull my child from the school right now.”
The flustered staff asked, “You want to withdraw her?”
“Yes,” she replied firmly.
While the school staff attempted to justify what was going on, the mother wasn’t having it, noting that the protest was disrupting her daughter’s education.
“This is unbelievable. I can’t believe my kid is in this environment right now. I’m blown away.”
“Can she be brought down to the office right now, please?” she continued.
A staff member replied, “We have everybody out there right now, we’ll get her for you.”
As the mom continues to express her dismay at the political activism forced on her child, another staff member attempts to justify the activity and says they can “explain” to her what they are doing.
Before they are able to launch into their justification, she reiterates her concern, “This is disrupting traffic and my child’s education.”
As they continued to justify the walkout, she asked, “What about my family?” She did not receive an answer.
She then expressed frustration at students who booed her as she walked toward the building, presumably because she did not honk her support.
Following the violence by anti-ICE agitators across the country, and the school’s very clear support of leftist activism, she requested an escort for her and her daughter because she was fearful for their safety.
“I’m telling you right now, this is going to be a huge problem, guys,” she warned. “I cannot believe my child is in this environment right now.”
” I am ashamed and embarrassed as a parent and as an adult.”
“I thought my kid was safe here.”
