Conservative commentator Candace Owens has made a startling claim on social media, accusing French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, of orchestrating a plot to assassinate her.
Owens currently has the number one podcast in the world.
In a post on X on Friday evening, Owens stated that she was contacted by a high-ranking French government employee who provided what she described as credible information about the alleged scheme.
The post, which has garnered significant attention with over 66,000 likes and millions of views within hours, calls for widespread sharing and urges U.S. authorities to investigate.
Owens wrote: “Two days ago I was contacted by a high-ranking employee of the French Government. After determining this person’s position and proximity to the French couple, I have deemed the information they gave me to be credible enough to share publicly in the event that something happens. In short, this person claims that the Macrons have executed upon and paid for my assassination. Yes, you read that correctly. More specifically, that the green light was given to a small team in National Gendarmerie Intervention Group. I am told there is one Israeli that is on this assassination squad and the plans were formalized.”

Owens further alleged that the informant provided proof of their position within the French government.
She also linked the claim to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on September 10, suggesting that Kirk’s killer had trained with the French Foreign Legion’s 13th Demi-Brigade and involved “multi-state” coordination.
Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with capital murder for Kirk’s assassination and is awaiting trial in prison. Owens has repeatedly expressed doubt about his guilt.
Additionally, Owens claimed that she is unsure who in the American government can be trusted, as her source claimed some of our “leaders” are aware. She did not elaborate on who that means.

Further to this point, this person claims that Charlie Kirk’s assassin trained with the French legion 13th brigade with multi-state involvement.
Journalist Xavier Poussard’s life is also at risk. This is deadly serious. The head of state of France apparently wants us both dead and has authorized professional units to carry this out.

The National Gendarmerie Intervention Group, commonly known as GIGN (Groupe d’Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale), is an elite tactical unit of the French National Gendarmerie, a military police force under the Ministry of the Interior.
Established in 1973 following the Munich Olympics hostage crisis, GIGN specializes in counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, surveillance of national threats, protection of high-profile individuals, and operations against organized crime.
Owens’ accusation comes amid an escalating feud with the Macrons, stemming from her promotion of theories claiming that Brigitte Macron is transgender and was born male under the name Jean-Michel Trogneux. She is currently being sued by the couple in a Delaware court, despite living in Tennessee.
As of Saturday morning, there has been no public response from the French government, the Macrons, or U.S. authorities regarding these allegations.
