President Trump on Monday evening delivered remarks at the annual McDonald’s Impact Summit in Washington, DC.
During his remarks to franchise owners and executives, Trump roasted Kamala Harris as he boasted about his time as a McDonald’s fry cook.
In October 2024, during the final sprint of the presidential election, Trump wore an apron as he served fries at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Trevose, Pennsylvania.
“Hello, everybody. It’s my first day at McDonald’s! I’m looking for a job!” Trump said to the owner.
“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala at McDonald’s,” Trump said, trolling his political opponent.
Kamala Harris spent the few months of her presidential campaign floating a dubious story about her time working at McDonald’s while she was in college.
However, there is no record of Kamala Harris ever working at McDonald’s in Alameda, California.
A source at McDonald’s corporate tells me they have no record of a Kamala Harris ever working for them around the time and place she claims.

On Monday evening, President Trump revived his McDonald’s joke and zinged Kamala Harris.
“I’m honored to stand before you as the very first former McDonald’s fry cook ever to become President of the United States,” Trump said to cheers.
“And I actually was there for about 30 minutes, and that was 30 minutes longer than Kamala was there, despite her job at McDonald’s. That didn’t work out too well,” Trump said.

President Trump touted his economic success on Monday evening as well.
“Nobody has done what we’ve done in terms of pricing,” Trump said before he took a shot at Joe Biden. “We took over a mess.”
“Now we have normal inflation,” Trump added.
“We’re going to get it a little bit lower, frankly. We have it almost at the sweet spot. And prices are coming down on different things,” he said.
