John Fetterman is proving to be the smartest Democrat in the United States Senate.
Who would have guessed.

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has said that his own party is to blame for the ongoing government shutdown.
As Americans lose their access to food stamps and other essential government services, Fetterman insists that it is the Democratic Party that is to blame.
In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday, Fetterman said that it is time Democratic leaders stepped up and owned the consequences of their actions.
“It is deeply, deeply distressing to know that 42 millions are going to lose their snap benefits,” he continued.
“I feel like the Democrats really need to own the shutdown.’
“I mean, we’re shutting it down. I know why. They claim because they want to address the tax credits. And I fully support that.”
“We are hurting the very people that we fight for. And now we’re getting nothing for them if we continue to keep our government shut down,” he said.
No doubt the Democrat party will not take kindly to his truth telling.
Much like they did with Joe Biden we can expected them to kick Fetterman to the curb if they decide that he is no longer worth keeping around.
The American people deserve to know the truth, just like he said it is the Democrats that are keeping the government shut down.
