The Democrat Party’s despicable shutdown tactics are backfiring so severely that even their own voters are starting to get fed up.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Schumer Shutdown took effect at 12:01 am on October 1 after two measures to avert the government shutdown failed in the Senate.
The measures needed 60 votes to pass. The GOP-backed measure failed to pass in a 55-45 vote – Rand Paul voted with the Democrats.
The Democrat Party to put the welfare of illegal aliens, higher taxes by repealing Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill, surgeries for transgender minors, and more garbage ahead of keeping the government running.
On Thursday, a Democrat from California called into C-SPAN and absolutely torched his party for shutting the government down.
He opened by saying he’s looking to quit the Democrat party for good because the party’s leaders are continuing this pattern of blaming the other side instead of doing the right thing.
He then asked a great question: Democrats always vote to keep the government open while they are in power, so why are they holding Americans hostage now?
The man closed by scolding Schumer and company for whining and crying instead of looking in the mirror.

CALLER: I think I’m going to be leaving the Democrat Party because this happens too often, where they’re blaming the opposite party when they know they can do the right thing.
They need to do the right thing and reopen this government instead of keeping it shut down like they’re hijacking the American people. I’ve seen it before.
We’ve seen them vote the right way when they’re in power. So why the h*ll can’t they vote the right way when they’re not in power?
So get this government back open, and get the American people what they deserve. And this is basically a Schumer shutdown from what I’ve seen, from what I’ve been watching on C-SPAN, what they show and what they show the Democrats whining and crying and blaming.
That’s what I see.
If Democrats from far-left California are losing faith in their party, one can only imagine what is happening in the heartland.
