Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Jason Smith (R-MO) was shouted down after he was called to speak before the vote on President Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill.’
The House of Representatives voted to advance Trump’s reconciliation bill 219-213 at approximately 3:30 am on Thursday.
Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries took the floor and droned on and on about abortion, illegal aliens and Obamacare.
Jeffries bloviated for more than 8 hours in a record-breaking filibuster speech.

Shortly after Jeffries finished his speech, Chairman Jason Smith was called to speak.
Chairman Smith called Hakeem Jeffries’ speech ‘hogwash.’
