In a defining moment for the fiscal and moral future of the United States, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has openly voiced the frustration of millions of conservative voters who placed their trust in the promise of change under President Donald J. Trump’s leadership.

During a recent interview with friendly media outlets, MTG — as she is widely known among her supporters — was blunt: patience is wearing thin over the lack of tangible progress in defunding the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and taxpayer-funded outlets like NPR and PBS, which for decades have operated as ideological mouthpieces for the left.

“We haven’t seen the DOJ cuts or the funding cancellations sent by the White House. The Speaker of the House also hasn’t brought these bills to the floor,” Greene stated plainly.

The People Voted for Cuts, Not Delays
The conservative congresswoman emphasized that the American people voted for a clear agenda in November 2024, when President Trump was re-elected with a direct mandate: to end federal waste, stop political persecution disguised as justice, and restore power to the people above the deep state.

In that context, defunding the DOJ, NPR, and PBS isn’t just an economic issue — it’s a cultural and patriotic victory.

“Defunding NPR and PBS would be an easy and quick win to pass through the House,” she stressed. “We shouldn’t wait for a giant package. We could pass some of these items separately every week.”

Obstruction Within the Republican Party
Greene’s criticism wasn’t limited to Democrats. She directly called out fellow Republicans who have blocked key initiatives — including Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), who has conditioned his support on more aggressive tax cuts for his New York constituents.

“Mike Lawler introduced a bill in 2023 to raise the SALT cap, but now says $30,000 isn’t enough… while he attacks President Trump’s big, beautiful bill,” she noted.

The congresswoman warned that the lack of unity within the Republican caucus is stalling the fulfillment of the people’s will and weakening the conservative offensive against reckless spending and politicized institutions.

A Wake-Up Call for Congressional Leadership
Taylor Greene reiterated that she has chosen the direct route — meeting with the Speaker of the House, communicating with the White House, and working in subcommittees. But her message is clear: Republican leadership must stop acting out of fear and take control of the agenda.

“Dan, we are not passing the agenda the American people voted for in November. That has to change now,” she warned.

What’s Next?
The representative closed her remarks with a powerful call to action:

“Are we going to get these spending cuts? Can we codify them so that no one in the future wastes billions of our taxpayer dollars again? I believe we can. But we need the will.”

The Time Is Now
Congress cannot continue failing the conservative base. As Congresswoman Greene has made clear, there is no more room for half-measures or diluted negotiations. The re-election of President Trump was the people’s call to restore law, order, and fiscal responsibility. And that begins today.
