James O’Keefe on Friday released part two of O’Keefe Media Group’s investigative series into FEMA’s lack of response to Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.
As The Gateway Pundit reported Thursday, O’Keefe released part one of his investigation into FEMA.
In the must-see video, O’Keefe showcased the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, including destroyed houses, churches, roads, and polluted streams, and spoke to several devastated residents, volunteers, and founders from nonprofit organizations across North Carolina. FEMA has hardly done anything to help these people.
Most shockingly, one resident revealed that they were discovering human bones in the storm’s wreckage.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Officials with the so-called Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) ordered relief workers to purposely skip over homes in Florida displaying Trump signs in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. Hurricane Helene victims in North Carolina are still sleeping in tents as FEMA slow-rolls recovery efforts.
Earlier this month, Marn’i Washington, who ordered relief workers to purposely skip over homes in Florida displaying Trump signs in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, said it is NOT an isolated incident, and FEMA workers were instructed to skip over Trump houses in the Carolinas, too!
FEMA also doesn’t have enough money to help Americans suffering because the Biden Regime has burned through $1 billion to resettle illegal aliens, and Biden continues sending billions of dollars overseas.
In part two of the FEMA exposé, O’Keefe snuck onto a FEMA lodging compound in Candler, North Carolina and attempted to speak to federal employees with hidden cameras. “We rolled up to the compound, and right when we got out of the car, they started shutting the gate,” O’Keefe said in the clip, noting that “they told us not to record.” Even more suspicious, “We spoke to these two guys, and immediately they turned their badges around,” he said.
O’Keefe is then seen asking the Strategic Security Corp guards with FEMA badges, “What’s the purpose of a name badge if you have to turn it around?” The man responded, “I just got a family I’m trying to protect.”
He then returned to his car to call FEMA. O’Keefe reached a FEMA representative named Nicole, who immediately claimed on the recorded phone call that they “don’t have any camps in North Carolina.” She then said, “It is responder lodging. It is not a camp,” after O’Keefe told her that he was sitting in front of the camp.
Nicole, in a rude and almost dystopian tone, repeatedly refused to answer questions, trying several times to rush the phone call and end it, repeatedly stating, “This conversation is over.” She even said, “I’m going to tell you, in about 10 seconds, I am disconnecting this call.”
O’Keefe compared the “mysterious” robotic voice of the FEMA representative he spoke to on the phone to the fictional robot character, HAL 9000, from the science fiction Space Odyssey films.
Upon noting that he’d been in town all day and hadn’t “been able to see them [FEMA] working” and asking for a tour of the work areas, Nicole declined his request. While refusing to give up information on the recovery efforts, she demanded that O’Keefe send an email if he wanted a “recovery update,” which she said would show “what our team has been doing and what the numbers are.” She refused to further clarify what information could be obtained.
These must be the talking points provided to FEMA’s employees.
Despite sending an email, as Nicole requested, no recovery update was provided even weeks later.
The next day, O’Keefe returned to the FEMA barracks to try to get answers again, when he was again told by the security guards, “You can’t film here.”
What are they hiding?
