Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana appeared on FOX News today and offered his take on Graham Platner, the far left radical that the Democrats are going to run for a U.S. Senate seat in Maine.
Kennedy addressed the issue with his usual humor, calling Platner part of the loon wing of the Democrat party.
It’s truly stunning to watch Democrats and liberals in the media defend this guy. They have spent the better part of ten years calling Trump ‘Hitler’ and Republicans ‘Nazis’ and now they are trying to defend a man who had an actual Nazi tattoo on his body for years.
You couldn’t make this up.

MCENANY: Is Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner (D) your kind of man?
SEN. JOHN KENNEDY: I actually prefer women to men. But to each his own.
“They think that kids should be able to change genders at recess. A lot of the looners hyperventilate on their yoga mats if you use the wrong pronoun!”
“The faction in control of the Democrat Party is the LOON wing, the SOCIALIST wing. Its leaders are Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, Mayor Mamdani, elder statesman Bernie Sanders. Mr. Platner is a member. They have deeply weird beliefs.”
“They think that cops are a bigger problem than criminals. They believe in open borders, which is why they want to defund ICE. That’s what we’re fighting over right now in Washington, DC. They’re angry.”

Kennedy is right about all of this, as usual.
It will be fascinating to see if it really comes down to Platner vs. Republican Susan Collins in the general election. Collins may not be a favorite among conservatives but she seems so incredibly normal compared to Platner. The people of Maine had better choose wisely.
