Has Zelensky opened up his eyes?
The Globalist magazine The Atlantic comes with an article about how Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky finally realized that Donald J. Trump is not his ally.
Really? Just now?
A quick look back shows that Trump has called Zelensky ‘a Dictator without elections’ since his presidential mandate ended back in 2024.
Trump also called him a ‘modestly successful comedian’ who was ‘the greatest salesman on Earth’ and ‘P.T. Barnum’, for conning feeble Joe Biden into giving him billions.
He called him ‘disrespectful’ for his antics in the Oval Office.
The US president said ‘Ze’ has ‘done a terrible job’, with a country that is ‘shattered’, where ‘millions have unnecessarily died’.
Trump has panned him for ‘refusing to hold elections’, and ‘not being ready for peace’, despite the fact that he ‘has no cards’ (in the negotiations with Russia).
In fact, anyone can see how little regard Trump has for the Kiev regime’s unelected leader.
In the meantime, Trump often spoke of the mutual respect for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Atlantic reported:
“But now Kyiv appears to have given up on the United States. It is aggressively seeking new diplomatic and military partners—for instance, by sharing its hard-won expertise in drone warfare with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates and forging arms-production agreements with Germany. Ukraine has sent drones to attack oil-export facilities near St. Petersburg, deep inside enemy territory, in defiance of what Zelensky called ‘signals’ from unspecified ‘partners’ to avoid striking Russian energy infrastructure.
Using language that would until recently have been unthinkable, Zelensky has indicated that he no longer views the United States as a reliable ally and, even more astonishingly, that all of Europe needs to start moving on from the transatlantic relationship.”
Zelensky is also mad that Trump eased sanctions on Russian oil producers and sellers.
“In an interview last week with Italian radio, Zelensky criticized that decision. ‘In my view, Russia played the Americans again—played the president of the United States’, he said. […] Lest anyone outside Italy miss his point, Zelensky amplified an English-language version of his comments on X.”
Zelensky is also mad that Trump eased sanctions on Russian oil producers and sellers.

Besides offering his opinion on matters outside his dubious jurisdiction, ‘Ze’ is also opining on a new security architecture for Europe without the US.
This is bonkers, since Ukraine is not part of the EU or NATO, and literally no one is willing to follow his lead.
