Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) has quickly become one of America’s top members of Congress thanks to his outstanding voting record and humor. The latter was on full display when he was asked to weigh in on the lead singer for the Super Bowl halftime show.
As TGP readers know, the National Football League (NFL) announced that anti-Trump Puerto Rican rap star Bad Bunny will be the Apple Music Halftime entertainer for Super Bowl LX, to be held at Levi’s Stadium tonight in Santa Clara, California.
Bad Bunny has been vocal about his disdain for efforts to protect Americans through U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enforcement and declared in an interview that he would not tour the United States out of fear that ICE agents would arrest his fans outside his shows.
In addition, Bad Bunny is reportedly planning to wear a dress to “honor queer icons” during his Super Bowl halftime performance.
TMZ caught up with Burchett in DC on Saturday and asked for his thoughts on Bad Bunny. Burchett began by stating that he wouldn’t know Bad Bunny if he “walked up to him and asked to borrow his cell phone.”
Then, Burchett had the interviewer cracking up when he started sharing a hilarious, NSFW story about his family’s experience with Flemish Giant Rabbits.

BURCHETT: I wouldn’t know Bad Bunny if he walked up here and asked me if he could borrow my cell phone. I really don’t know who he is.
I used to have a bad bunny; I had this Flemish giant rabbit, his name was Flop. He had one ear that flopped over.
And I always remembered…And somebody had another Flemish giant rabbit and wanted to breed them. I said, “Let’s go easy on that.”
They bring the dadgum thing over; it’s Christmas Day. And Flop and this other animal, Caramel…We put it in the cage beside it, and they’re getting to know each other.
We put them together and whew! It’s true what they say about rabbits.
And my nephew was like, “Uncle Tim, what’s flop doing to Caramel?’ And I go back into the house to give the sex talk to him.
Then, about a week later, Flop died of a heart attack.
