The lovefest honeymoon for radical socialist NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani appears to already be over after just a month in office.
As New York tries to recover from a record storm, the streets are still a mess a week later, and celebrities in the city are taking to social media to blast the mayor.
Actor Michael Rapaport took to Instagram and shared a video of the still towering mounds of dirty snow.
” A week after the snowstorm and this is what we got Zoron the Shoveler! Filthy black snow, garbage soup, ice rinks on every corner, cars buried like fossils.”
“People slipping, breaking ankles, nobody shoveling, nobody salting, nobody doing SH*T.”
“This is New York City. Three minutes from the mayor’s house.”
“Start spreading the news… this place is a dirty snow covered dump.”
“Clean it the f*** up Mayor!”
Even actress Debra Messing, who has made no secret of her far-left views, slammed the city’s failure under Mamdani’s leadership.
“Sitting in a taxi trying to get to an appointment,” she shared on X. “Should take 20 minutes, we are at an hour and ten minutes and counting. The streets are a disaster. It hasn’t snowed in 5 days and the streets still haven’t been cleared. Poor ambulance sitting in aessentially a parking lot with sirens going. I’m praying for the person needing emergency care.”
“I’ve lived here for 15 years (this go around) and this has never happened. The plows have always worked around the clock to get the city back to working.”
“I wonder what happened?”
“Hang in there New Yorkers.”

If Mamdani thinks the failure to plow the city is a minor blip that will be forgotten, he might want to take a look at what happened to former Chicago Mayor Michael Bilandic. His failure to lead during the blizzard of ’79 cost him the election.
Primary challenger Jane Byrne capitalized on his failure to address the anger and, after winning the primary, she replaced Bilandic as mayor.
“Bilandic’s blizzard” is a cautionary tale in Chicago politics, and subsequent mayors since have treated snow removal as a high-stakes priority to avoid a similar fate.
Mamdani also faced criticism over the weekend for his slow pace in fulfilling his campaign promises. Protestors swarmed outside Gracie Mansion, the official mayoral residence in Carl Schurz Park, and shared their disappointment.
Protesters shouted through a megaphone, “We was with you, Zohran! We voted for you, Zohran! We advocated for you, Zohran!” He continued, “You ain’t did nothing but get up in there and lie to us! You lied, Zohran! Shame, Zohran!”
