Why did Nancy Pelosi speak at a tribute for Bob Weir?
Founding member and guitarist for the band Grateful Dead, Bob Weir, died at the age of 78 last week.
Thousands of people and ‘Deadheads’ honored Bob Weir at San Francisco’s Civic Center on Saturday.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered a speech and stumbled over her words.
“Bobby Weir was not just a magician, musician – – a magician too! He was a force of nature,” Pelosi slurred.
Pelosi could barely get the words out.
“That our strength and [unintelligible] – our diversity and our willingness to learn from one another,” she said.
“He gave me this sign, and I’ll show it today, because I said Bobby really loved democracy, he loved our country,” Pelosi said.
“You know what he wanted everybody to do? Vote!” she added.

Pelosi was brutally mocked for sounding sloshed.
