Soros-backed leftist Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner posted a cringey statement on social media, with faux tough guy bravado, targeting members of the National Guard and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

“To ICE and the National Guard: if you commit crimes in Philadelphia, we will charge you and hold you accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”

The comment was accompanied by a black-and-white photo of Krasner wearing sunglasses, with the text “FAFO” across the photo.

One commentator noted that Krasner extends more sympathy to rapists and murders than he does to those trying to protect us.

I wish y’all felt that way about the rapist and murderers y’all are allowing to walk freely in our country. https://t.co/ySHlveWuBq

While Krasner is puffing out his chest and threatening those trying to protect American citizens, he has spent years coddling criminals.

Early in his tenure, Krasner issued directives to decline prosecution for low-level offenses like marijuana possession, prostitution (with few priors), enabling repeat offending, especially in retail theft and minor drug cases.

Krasner is also soft on bail policies and, in many cases, prosecutors are not seeking cash bail for low-level/nonviolent offenses (simulating no-cash-bail), releasing potentially dangerous people back onto the street to reoffend.

In 2025, Keon King was released on low bail after Kranser’s office ultimately dropped kidnapping and assault charges.  King ultimately was charged in the disappearance of Miss USA hopeful Kada Scott, 23, whose remains were found in October.

Krasner said in a news conference at the time that the situation “could have been handled better,” but suggested there are “systemic issues” in the city’s bail process.

Court officials, however, pushed back at his attempt to pass the buck, noting “judges are always available for emergency bail appeals, a step the DA’s office chose not to take.”

At a tense Friday news conference, Krasner blamed “systemic issues” for the suspect’s earlier release on bail — a defense that drew immediate rebuke from victims’ advocates and court officials, who accused the DA of dodging responsibility.

His office also dropped drug charges against suspects who later committed murders, including Hassan Elliott.

Elliott was later sentenced to 900 months in prison for the fatal shootings of Philadelphia Police Sergeant James O’Connor, Kaseem Rogers, Tyrone Tyree, and Dontae Walker, and numerous other crimes arising from the defendant’s membership in a violent drug trafficking organization.
