Ben Bankas is a stand-up comedian from Canada. We’re not sure where he stands on politics on a personal level, but his act is definitely not politically correct and the liberal left does not like him.
It’s not just that he is politically incorrect, however. The guy is genuinely funny and does not shy away from controversial topics that many other comedians would be terrified to talk about on stage.

Theatre vows stricter vetting after ‘crude’ comedian was cancelled
After cancelling the Ben Bankas comedy show last week, the Sault Community Theatre Centre’s board is taking steps to prevent something like this from happening again.
The comedy show was cancelled after Garden River Chief Karen Bell told SooToday she was against Bankas performing in the Sault –because his jokes about Indigenous people and residential schools are “inaccurate” and “crude.”
The outspoken comedian, who has not responded to a request for comment, has had shows cancelled in Kelowna, Calgary, Thunder Bay, North Bay, and now the Sault.
Christopher Rous, the board’s president, said having to cancel the March 6 performance made the board realize they must take a closer look at shows before letting them book the theatre.
“What occurred has shed light on the need to vet third-party programming with greater vigour to ensure we have appropriate and sufficient guidelines in place.
“We regret this and are taking these steps to ensure it does not happen again,” Rous said.
