During another comical moment at Mar-a-Lago on Monday, President Trump offered the leftwing media lunch as they covered the day’s events at his home, noting that, despite his hospitality, they won’t cover him fairly.
Ahead of Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago home, their sixth meeting since Trump returned to office in January, Trump offered the press food while he was busy having a private lunch with Netanyahu.
“If you’d like, you can come up and have lunch like you did yesterday,” Trump told the press. “Would you like that or not? You want that?” he added, noting that “some of them think it’s terrible, it’s a bribe.”
“A bribe for $25? I don’t know,” he said. “If you’d like, you can go, and if you don’t, you can stand in the driveway and melt, all right?”
He then credited aide Margo Martin, describing her as “a star” and “too nice” before calling out the media, saying, “she’s too nice to you, and you’re not nice to us, but that’s okay.”
Reporters could be heard enthusiastically accepting his offer and laughing at the remarks.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump similarly trolled the media on Sunday during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, asking the press, “Would you like to have some food? Or do you consider that a bribe?”
After instructing Margo Martin to take the press outside and feed them, Trump added, “That should guarantee good stories. But it won’t. They’ll go out of their way to make a point.”
