Tim Walz’s team has responded to the scandal of the century in their state with perhaps the lie of the century as the governor fights for his political life.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported on independent journalist Nick Shirley’s explosive report exposing millions of dollars of fraud involving Somali daycare centers in Minnesota.
Shirley shared clips of his investigation on X, including footage of the door being slammed in his face while he asked a Minnesota Childcare Center that claims to care for 102 children, which appeared empty.
Shirley released the full 42-minute video of his investigation, noting, “We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire!
“It’s time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable.”
The video, as of last count, has garnered over 112 MILLION views.

Given the damning facts exposed in the video, one would think Walz and his cronies would proceed with caution or perhaps keep silent altogether.
However, they responded with a lie so big that even Sleepy Joe Biden’s handlers would likely avoid.
“The governor has worked for years to crack down on fraud and ask the state legislature for more authority to take aggressive action,” a spokesperson for Walz told Fox News.
“He has strengthened oversight – including launching investigations into these specific facilities, one of which was already closed,” the spokesperson added. “(He) hired an outside firm to audit payments to high-risk programs, shut down the Housing Stabilization Services program entirely, announced a new statewide program integrity director, and supported criminal prosecutions.”
Walz previously called Shirley and others who have questioned his handling of the scandal “white supremacists.”
Walz’s team wants the public to believe that not only does the governor have no involvement in the scandal, but he has also been a leading advocate against this corruption. They must think that every day Americans have the same >IQ as Somali citizens.
Sadly, Walz still stands a good chance of winning a third term in office, given Minnesota’s Democratic lean and the motivation of the left to vote in every election since Trump’s 2024 victory.
Unseating him and the other corrupt politicians involved in the scandal will prove an uphill battle.
