President Trump, speaking in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, on Friday, told his supporters that MyPillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell “deserves to be governor of Minnesota,” while slamming Tim Walz.
President Trump has not made an official endorsement, but his signaling of support for Lindell could leave a clue.
“He’s corrupt and stupid, but he allowed this to go on,” Trump said in regard to Walz allowing Somali fraud to steal billions of taxpayer dollars. “And you know who’s running for governor, Mike Lindell.”

The Gateway Pundit reported that Trump also eviscerated Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), highlighting the fraud perpetrated by third-world Somali aliens and demanding Omar’s deportation. “Ilhan Omar should be sent out of our country. She should be. She should not be allowed to be a congresswoman. She married her brother, either to stay or to get him into the country,” he said. He further destroyed her for making up a story about the police attacking her son.

The Gateway Pundit reported last week that Lindell officially announced his 2026 bid for Governor of Minnesota, challenging incumbent Democratic Governor Tim Walz.
“I’m still standing; MyPillow is still standing; and now I want you to know that I will stand for you as the next governor of the state of Minnesota,” Lindell said on Bannon’s War Room.
