Border Patrol Cmdr. Gregory Bovino isn’t going to allow progressive tantrums to interfere with his efforts to make the streets safer for all Americans.
On Wednesday, Bovino was confronted by Daniel Bliss, the far-left mayor of the far-left Chicago suburb of Evanston. Bliss confronted Bovino after at least ten people were detained for potentially being in the US illegally.

Biss whined, “The abuse has not been acceptable. The racism has not been acceptable. The violence has not been acceptable.”
He ensured that reporters were present to capture his virtue signaling for pithy soundbites of his deep concern.
“Yeah, that’s why we’re here,” Bovino shot back.
“That’s why we’re in your community, to hear what you need us to do when we are dealing with a violent situation or something like this, where there should be no violence committed by those who shouldn’t be here in your community.”
“I’m unaware of that happening,” Biss responded, admitting how disconnected he is from what is actually happening in his city.
Bovino quiped, “Well, that’s probably the problem. Maybe you should get aware.”

A few hours later, Bovino underscored the problems facing Chicago and the surrounding areas with an announcement of 16 purported illegal immigrants at O’Hare Airport working as rideshare drivers.
Bovino shared on X, “Looks like some rideshare drivers in Chicago took a wrong turn!”
“Operation Midway Blitz apprehended 16 illegal aliens operating as rideshare drivers. If you’re in this country illegally, you don’t get to blend into the ‘gig economy’ and bypass our immigration laws.”
“We’re the best Uber driver, and we’ll get them home again!”
