Bill and Hillary are trying to avoid testifying at all costs.
Comer is determined to have the Clintons on the record in the House Oversight Committee review of the investigations and prosecutions of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The Clintons, as one would expect, are trying to weasel their way out of this potentially dangerous exposure.

“Comer: It has been more than four months since Bill and Hillary Clinton were subpoenaed to sit for depositions related to our investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s horrific crimes.Throughout that time, the former President and former Secretary of State have delayed, obstructed, and largely ignored the Committee staff’s efforts to schedule their testimony. If the Clintons fail to appear for their depositions next week or schedule a date for early January, the Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings to hold them accountable.”
Depositions were scheduled for Bill Clinton on Wednesday, December 17, and for Hillary Clinton on Thursday, December 18 – but now it’s reported that new dates have been set for January 13 and 14.
But one thing hasn’t changed: Comer is still threatening former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with contempt charges, unless they show up for their depositions in January.

“’Your correspondence with the Committee continues to ignore the Committee’s arguments, misstates relevant facts, and seeks information about the Committee’s investigation to which neither you nor your clients are entitled’, Comer wrote in a letter shared with Just The News.
Comer claimed that the attorney said he could not provide alternative dates for their testimonies, and so the committee has selected Jan. 13, 2026, for the former president’s deposition, and Jan. 14, 2026 for Hillary Clinton’s.
If your clients do not comply with these new dates, the Committee will move immediately to contempt proceedings’. he added.”
