Washed-up comedian David Letterman has branded President Trump a “dictator” who represents humanity’s worst accomplishment.
Letterman made the comments during an episode of The Barbara Gaines Show, a podcast hosted by his former producer Barbara Gaines.
“Trump is our dictator,” Letterman said. “His appearance is fraudulent as is everything about the regime
“Think of the worst thing that you’ve ever seen humans accomplish. This is so much worse.”

“Nobody cares what lies irrelevant David Letterman spews out,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson later told Fox News Digital.
His comments came after Trump attacked fellow comedian Seth Meyers and suggested that NBC should fire him.
“NBC’s Seth Meyers is suffering from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS),” Trump said.
“He was viewed last night in an uncontrollable rage, likely due to the fact that his ‘show’ is a Ratings DISASTER.”
“Aside from everything else, Meyers has no talent, and NBC should fire him, IMMEDIATELY!”
Letterman added that Meyers does a “magical” job.
“I’ve never been more proud of Seth Meyers,” he said. “That’s our old show, as a matter of fact. Yeah, we used to do that show, and he does a magical job.”

Back in July, Meyers said he feared for his mental health if his show ever got cancelled in the same way that happened to fellow left-wing funnyman Stephen Colbert.
I would worry about myself, like, mental health-wise,” Meyers said when asked how he would react if his show were cancelled.
“Certainly, financially, I could have been fine just doing the show for the last 11 years.
”But then it was like, ‘Oh, you know what? I feel like there’s something to trying to build a stand-up career and trying to do other things.’”
“I feel like I shifted from fearing that I wouldn’t be good enough, and now my fear is weirdly more outside of my control,” he added.
