In a pair of late-night Truth Social posts, President Trump doubled down on treasonous Democratic lawmakers who urged members of the military to disobey lawful orders from the commander in chief.
“IT WAS SEDITION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL, AND SEDITION IS A MAJOR CRIME. THERE CAN BE NO OTHER INTERPRETATION OF WHAT THEY SAID!” Trump declared in a scathing post on Truth Social. “IT WASN’T, AND NEVER WILL BE! IT WAS SEDITION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL, AND SEDITION IS A MAJOR CRIME. THERE CAN BE NO OTHER INTERPRETATION OF WHAT THEY SAID!”
The President later wrote, “MANY GREAT LEGAL SCHOLARS AGREE THAT THE DEMOCRAT TRAITORS THAT TOLD THE MILITARY TO DISOBEY MY ORDERS, AS PRESIDENT, HAVE COMMITTED A CRIME OF SERIOUS PROPORTION!”
In a recent video message to active-duty military members, six Democratic lawmakers told service members and intelligence officials that they have a “duty” to disobey “illegal” orders from President Trump.
The members of Congress used their credentials as high-ranking former members of the military and national security apparatus to advise people to disobey lawful orders from their chain of command and the President of the United States, with extremely broad and unclear language. By signaling they have the duty to do so, they further attempted to intimidate those under the command of the United States into opposing lawful orders.
This comes amid unrelenting waves of lawfare against the President’s lawful authority, which the Supreme Court has overwhelmingly ruled has been exercised properly.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump ripped the lawmakers in a statement on Truth Social last week, stating that their actions may constitute “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
This, of course, triggered Democrats and their allies in the leftist media.
The lawmakers who conspired to overthrow Trump through a military resistance later released a statement, labeling his calls for justice as “calls for our murder and political violence,” while further encouraging active duty military and national security professionals to rebel.
“What’s most telling is that the President considers it punishable by death for us to restate the law,” they wrote. “Our servicemembers should know that we have their backs as they fulfill their oath to the Constitution and obligation to follow only lawful orders. It is not only the right thing to do, but also our duty.”
They continued, “This is a time for moral clarity. In these moments, fear is contagious, but so is courage. We will continue to lead and will not be intimidated.”
The statement concluded, “Don’t Give Up the Ship!” — a dog whistle to their original statement and a call for the military not to surrender by showing loyalty to the President.
And President Trump isn’t taking this lightly, noting that their words are clearly a call for rebellion.
