Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) went on the Senate floor this afternoon and completely lost his mind over President Trump’s response to congressional Democrats demanding military members disobey his orders.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump woke up this morning in an absolute rage after learning six congressional Democrats were calling for members of the military and intelligence community to commit treason against America.
Senators Elissa Slotkin of Michigan and Mark Kelly of Arizona, along with Representatives Chris DeLuzio of Pennsylvania, Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania, Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire, and Jason Crow of Colorado, posted a video on Tuesday essentially ordering these professionals to betray Trump and implement a ‘soft coup,’ rendering him powerless to carry out his policies.
Trump responded on Truth Social, calling the video “seditious” and stating that these “traitors” should be arrested. He later added that sedition is a crime punishable by death.
Schumer responded by angrily accusing Trump of making political violence more likely, warning that his supporters may take his words and carry out assassinations of political opponents.
Schumer went on to falsely claim that Trump has made “political violence a feature of his politics,” conveniently forgetting it was the LEFT that TWICE tried to assassinate a sitting GOP president just over a year ago.

SCHUMER: Earlier today, Donald Trump shared a post on Truth Social calling for Democratic members of Congress to be hanged.
He also posted a message that said “seditious behavior, punishable by death.”
Let’s be crystal clear: The president of the United States is calling for the execution of elected officials!
This is an outright threat, and it’s deadly serious. We’ve already seen what happens when Donald Trump tells his followers that his political opponents are enemies of the state.
Every time Donald Trump posts things like this, he makes political violence more likely. None of us should tolerate this kind of behavior: we all remember what January 6 was like.
We have lived through assassinations this year…we have families that have had to flee their homes. When Donald Trump uses the language of execution and treason, some of his supporters may very well listen.
He is lighting a match in a country soaked in political gasoline…Everyone should condemn this immediately.
If we don’t draw a line here, there is no line left to draw…Who would have thought that the President of the United States would say his opponents should be hanged?
No president has ever stooped as low as Donald Trump…He has made political violence a feature of his politics, and if we don’t draw a line here, there is no line left to draw.
He must be condemned forcefully, loudly, without excuses, before someone takes his words as permission to do the unthinkable
