President Donald Trump has unveiled a revolutionary plan to eviscerate the disastrous Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, and slam the brakes on the bloated insurance cartel’s endless gravy train.
Trump announced he has been holding private talks with Democrat lawmakers about completely gutting Obamacare and redirecting the hundreds of billions in federal health-care subsidies straight back to the American people.
Earlier this month on Truth Social, Trump called on Senate Republicans to follow through on a long-delayed promise to end Obamacare once and for all:
“I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE, and have money left over.
In other words, take from the BIG, BAD Insurance Companies, give it to the people, and terminate, per Dollar spent, the worst Healthcare anywhere in the World, ObamaCare.”
Trump later posted an image illustrating how Obamacare funnels taxpayer cash into the coffers of private insurers.
While speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump revealed that he’s actively discussing a full repeal of the disastrous Obamacare — and, according to him, even some Democrats are quietly signaling interest in his plan to reroute federal Obamacare dollars straight back to the American people.
Pres. Trump:
“And I’ve had personal talks with some Democrats. I can’t tell you who they are; I just don’t want to do that. It’s not fair to them — about paying large amounts of dollars back to the people. This was my idea. It came up during that. Oftentimes, under times of stress, like the shutdown, you come up with great ideas that you wouldn’t have thought of before.The insurance companies are making a fortune. Their stock is over a thousand percent over a short period of time. They are taking in hundreds of billions of dollars, and they’re not really putting it back — certainly not like they should.
So when I see this, and when I’ve seen this over the last pretty short period of time, I said, ‘Why don’t we just pay this money directly to the people of our country and let them buy their own health insurance?’ And I made that statement — and I made it a little bit cavalierly — but it sounded good. Everybody has picked up, including Democrats.
I am talking to some Democrats right now about doing that. People love it. We’re going to take the money — well, if it gets approved — we’re going to take the money, we’re going to pay it back to the people of our country to go out and buy health insurance.
Now, they could put it in a health account. We can do it a lot of different ways. But they buy their own health insurance. They can negotiate price. It’s going to be locked so they can’t go out and buy a Cadillac — they can go out and buy health insurance.”

Democrats spent years insisting Obamacare was untouchable, even as premiums soared, networks collapsed, and Big Insurance profited like never before.
During the debate over Obamacare back in 2010, then-President Barack Obama solemnly vowed before America illegal aliens would never have access to his healthcare proposal.
In response to the pledge, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) screamed, “You lie!” and was booed by the House of Representatives.
Wilson’s words have now proved prophetic. Just last year, the Biden regime issued a final rule change to expand Obamacare coverage to younger illegals (Dreamers) who have been allowed to stay in the United States under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
As Gateway Pundit readers know, DACA was illegally created in 2012 by the Obama regime in a ploy to win over Hispanic voters in the 2012 presidential election. The program provided work permits to illegals who entered the U.S. illegally while still minors.
The White House issued a news release that illegals covered by DACA can start applying for coverage in Obamacare and state healthcare marketplaces in November, just in time for the 2024 election.
They also boasted that more than 100,000 illegals would qualify for the program while bragging about the unconstitutional DACA policy.
