A United Airlines flight traveling from Dallas to Chicago was forced into an emergency landing Sunday morning after a passenger allegedly claimed his wife’s luggage contained a bomb.

United Flight 380 landed at Lambert St. Louis International Airport around 8:40 a.m. after a bomb threat was reported midair.

The male passenger responsible for the claim was immediately taken into custody, according to the far-left St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Sources say the man “said there was a bomb in his wife’s luggage,” triggering a full-scale emergency response.

Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge confirmed that passengers were evacuated and held in the concourse while bomb and arson teams methodically swept the aircraft, an operation that continued for more than two hours.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

United later issued a statement saying the aircraft was “searched and cleared” and would continue on to Chicago.

But this isn’t just an isolated scare. It’s the second bomb threat on a United Airlines flight in just two weeks.

The Gateway Pundit, on November 4, reported that another United flight, from Houston to Washington, D.C., had reported a bomb threat, prompting authorities to temporarily halt all flights in and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Audio from the air traffic control tower shows the air traffic controller notifying the pilot of the threat on the plane. “We have an unconfirmed bomb report for your flight. We’ve got to get you away from the airport,” the controller tells the pilot.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed that the aircraft had been cleared by law enforcement and landed safely.
