Diddy’s appeal may be heard as early as in April.

Inmate Diddy is moving for an early release.

After disgraced rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was convicted of two counts of prostitution offenses, he was sentenced by Judge Arun Subramanian to 50 months in jail and transferred to low-security FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. You’d think he’d finally be away from the headlines, right?

Wrong.

Every day we learn something new, like Diddy reportedly telling his fellow inmates at Dix that President Donald J. Trump will pardon him in early 2026.

Many ‘experts’ have run to the MSM to say that the pardon is not unlikely, but the rapper’s defense team is not counting on it, and is advancing with the appeal against his conviction and sentencing.

And early this week, he got good news on that front.

NBC News reported:

“Sean “Diddy” Combs’ request for a speedy appeals process was granted by a judge Monday, four days after he was transferred to a federal prison in New Jersey to begin serving a 50-month sentence on two interstate prostitution convictions.

U.S. Circuit Court Judge Beth Robinson approved Combs’ ask in a two-paragraph order. Combs’ lawyers are hoping to curtail the length of the fallen hip-hop mogul’s time behind bars.

Robinson, who sits on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit based in New York, outlined a prospective appeals schedule. She said Combs’ brief is due by Dec. 23, the U.S. government’s brief is due by Feb. 20 and Combs’ team’s reply is due by March 13.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs will have a quicker appeals process after a judge gave it the go-ahead … and his lawyers and federal prosecutors could be making oral arguments as early as April 2026.

Oral arguments can take place as early as April.

“Combs was convicted this summer on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, also known as the Mann Act. […] In a filing last week, defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro said ‘Sean’s appeal will challenge the unfair use of the Mann Act, an infamous statute with a sordid history, to prosecute him for sex with consenting adults’.”

Diddy is set to be released on May 8, 2028, but he could end up being released earlier ‘for good behavior or completing certain programs in prison’.
