President Trump delivered a message regarding Muslim Communist Zohran Mamdani today, following last night’s awful news in New York City.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Mamdani, the Democratic Socialist candidate, won the mayoral race in America’s most populous city last night.
Roughly 50% of New Yorkers voted for Mamdani, nine points ahead of second-place finisher and disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Following his win, Mamdani delivered a fiery, Marxist-tinged victory speech that sounded less like an American mayor and more like a disciple of Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, and Eugene Debs rolled into one.
Mamdani not only quoted socialist Eugene Debs but also invoked Jawaharlal Nehru, the Marxist “founding father” of socialist India, who “crushed Hindus and empowered Jihadis.”
While speaking at the America Business Forum in Miami, President Trump weighed in on his old hometown electing Mandami. Somewhat surprisingly, he offered reassurance to Americans.
While admitting that our nation “lost a little bit of sovereignty” from Mamdani’s victory, Trump said he would take care of the matter and not to worry.
“On November 5th, 2024, the American people reclaimed our government. We restored our sovereignty,” Trump said. “We lost a little bit of sovereignty last night in New York, but we’ll take care of it, don’t worry about it.”

Trump’s remark, “We’ll take care of it,” led many to speculate whether he was looking into cutting off> federal funding for New York or even trying to deport Mamdani.
As TGP readers know, Trump has threatened to do both.
Here is what Trump told a reporter back in July when asked what he would do if Mamdani refused to cooperate with Trump on deporting illegal aliens.
Well, then we’ll have to arrest him. Look, we don’t need a Communist in this country, but if we have one, I’m going to be watching over him very carefully on behalf of the nation. We send him money.
We send him all the things that he needs to run a government. And by the way, they already get about three times what you get to run. If you look at the per capita, Florida gets one-third of what New York gets in terms of the numbers. Why don’t you give us those numbers? Because that’s what we should send him.
