Construction began this week on the new Big Beautiful White House Ballroom that will have room for nearly 1,000 guests for future White House social events and state dinners with world leaders.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump previously announced that he was planning to build the new ballroom at the White House and told reporters that he’s paying for the $200 million project. President Trump added, “They’ve wanted a ballroom at the White House for more than 150 years, but there’s never been a President that was good at ballrooms. I’m really good,” he said. “I’m good at building things, and we’ll get it built quickly and on time.”
Trump also said that he plans to bring in donors to help him fund and complete the project.
This follows several other renovations the President has made at the White House, including the Oval Office, the Rose Garden, and the Palm Room, as well as the installation of two nearly 100-foot-tall flagpoles on the North and South Lawns.
Democrats were very upset with President Trump for breaking ground on this multi-million dollar project.
Chuck Schumer, not known for his integrity, tweeted out an attack on President Trump for working on the privately-funded ballroom during a shut down.

And Hillary Clinton, famous for pilfering the White House dinnerware during her time as First Lady, melted down over President Trump’s latest project to Make America Great Again.
