Judge Immergut on Wednesday extended her block on President Trump’s troop deployment in Portland, Oregon.
Earlier this month, Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee, blocked President Trump’s National Guard deployment to Portland.
Judge Immergut issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and blasted President Trump’s decision to deploy troops.
The TRO was set to expire on October 18, however Judge Immergut extended her TRO that blocks Trump from deploying National Guard troops to Portland.

A federal judge in Oregon on Wednesday extended temporary restraining orders that block President Donald Trump’s administration from deploying any National Guard troops to police Portland as part of his campaign to dispatch military forces to a growing number of Democratic-led cities.
Portland-based U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut acted as the administration awaits a ruling from a three-judge panel of the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on whether it will lift one of her orders preventing the administration from implementing Trump’s plan.
The judge warned that Trump’s justification to deploy troops to Portland may send the country into a constitutional crisis.
President Trump previously called up hundreds of California National Guard Troops to Portland to circumvent the judge’s order blocking Oregon National Guard Troop deployment.
Trump also activated up to 400 Texas National Guard troops for deployment to Oregon, Illinois and other states amid violent, anti-ICE protests.
Late Sunday evening Judge Immergut held an emergency hearing after President Trump ‘circumvented’ her previous order halting troop deployment to Portland.
The judge issued a second TRO and blocked all troop deployment to Oregon.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals last Wednesday unanimously voted to lift Judge Immergut’s Temporary Restraining Order on Trump’s mobilization of Oregon National Guard Troops.
However, the Ninth Circuit left in place Judge Immergut’s block on troop deployment.
The three-judge panel included: Graber (Clinton), Nelson (Trump), and Bade (Trump).
President Trump previously authorized troops to Portland, Oregon, and other Democrat-run cities to protect ICE agents from Antifa terrorists and other radical far-left groups.
