WATCH: Jen Psaki Attacks Trump and Republicans Following Charlie Kirk Assassination – Says “Problematic” Rhetoric Comes from Republicans and White House, Causes “Escalation”

Former Biden White House Press Secretary and far-left MSNBC host Jen Psaki used the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk on Wednesday to attack Republicans and Trump for “problematic” rhetoric during an interview with Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

The 31-year-old political commentator, activist, and co-founder of Turning Point USA tragically passed away in the hospital hours after the terrorist attack during a stop on his “Prove Me Wrong” tour at the college campus.

MSNBC aired vile commentary immediately after the shooting at Utah Valley University.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, MSNBC’s Katy Tur and political analyst Matthew Dowd trashed Charlie Kirk and conservatives after the shooting.

Tur immediately decried Charlie as “divisive” and “polarizing,” while saying the Trump Administration was probably going to use the incident as “justification for something.” She further compared the murder of a political leader to that of former DOGE employee Edward Coristine, as she put it, being “allegedly attacked,” which, in part, spurred Trump to take over Washington, DC.

Dowd took it even further, downplaying the death and assassination of Kirk, attributing it possibly to a supporter “shooting off his gun in support.”

MSNBC later issued an apology for “unacceptable” comments made by Dowd following Charlie Kirk’s assassination and fired him in response to the public outrage. Katy Tur has not been fired, however, for facilitating the wicked conversation and spewing her own insensitivities and hatred on live television.

Still, that evening, Jen Psaki attacked President Trump and conservatives, claiming that “problematic” rhetoric is coming from “one particular side and from one particular building,” in response to the President’s statement, where he condemned violence and hate from the left. She then called his statement an “escalation.”

President Trump released a powerful statement on Wednesday, remembering the life of Charlie Kirk and condemning the wave of “radical left political violence” in America. He further vowed to “find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence—including the organizations that fund it and support it—as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.”

But the left would rather Trump coddle leftwing terrorists as they cheer Charlie Kirk’s assassination and advocate for more violence.

Senator Kelly agreed with Psaki and attacked Trump for speaking words that “divide us.”

WATCH:

Psaki: He put out a four-minute video, and I’m not going to play the video. I don’t want to play the video, but there was a line at the end that that I think is— I just wanted to raise and read. At the end of this four minute video, he says, “for years, those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world’s worst mass murders and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now.”

And obviously, there’s a lot of rhetoric that is problematic. A lot of it is coming from one particular side and from one particular building. But what can be done, I fear, when this is an escalation, already in less than 24 hours of this shooting?

Kelly: Yeah, I think historically, presidents have looked for opportunities to bring people together. You know, right now, we need a president that will bring the country together and not try to further, you know, divide us.
