Popular Kids’ Game Roblox BANS YouTuber After He Exposes Child Predators on Platform

Michael, known online as “Schlep,” isn’t just another gamer.

He’s a 22-year-old survivor who was groomed on Roblox as a child, an experience so traumatic it nearly cost him his life.

After recovering, Michael dedicated himself to making sure no other child endured what he did.

Over the past year, he and his small team have helped law enforcement arrest six predators, some of them brazen enough to openly advertise themselves as “minor-attracted persons” on Roblox.

His sting operations have caught developers, community members, and long-time players, some of whom admitted to watching child pornography involving infants. He documented these busts, reported offenders to Roblox, and even sent detailed evidence binders directly to the company’s California headquarters.

Yet, instead of working with him, Roblox slapped him with legal threats, permanently terminated every account he’s ever had, and banned him from the platform for life.

“This isn’t going to be your typical video. This is a call for help,” Schelpp said in an emotional message to his subscribers on Youtube.

“Roblox is banning me for catching predators. They claim I’m ‘hurting their players.’ Tell that to the kid who emailed me thanking me for getting the guy who groomed him arrested.”

The company’s official stance? Vigilante predator-catching groups like Schlep’s are a “platform risk” and “harmful to others.”

The charges from Roblox against Schelpp are staggering, and, according to him, completely false. Among the accusations: “engaging in simulated child engagement conversations” and “sharing personally identifiable information.”

In reality, Schelpp says the only information he shares is predator evidence with law enforcement.

“What Roblox did could potentially stop some predators from facing real-life consequences,” he warned.

Even more disturbing, Schelpp claims Roblox ignored his reports on credible threats and dangerous grooming activity while games like “Public Bathroom Simulator” and “Dollhouse Roleplay,” where children reportedly engage in disturbing roleplay scenarios, remain active with millions of plays.

When Schelpp raised concerns directly to Roblox CEO David Baszucki, including about a predator who was later arrested for child exploitation, he was blocked.

“Roblox still allows a community of lollycons and MAPs [Minor-Attracted Persons] to exist on their platform,” he said. “Yet they take a firmer stance against me than they do against the predators we’ve had arrested.”

His ban also wiped out his popular “Malibumer” channel, a family-friendly Roblox theme park series that provided his main source of income.

Roblox, the massively popular online gaming platform, is now home to more than 85 million daily active users worldwide, and the majority of them are children.

Company data shows that nearly 60% of Roblox players are under the age of 16, with a huge portion in the preteen range.

In fact, about 42% of daily users are 12 or younger, split evenly between kids under 9 years old (21%) and those aged 9 to 12 (21%). Another 16% are teenagers aged 13 to 16.

In the United States alone, Roblox reaches over half of all children under age 16 every month, cementing its position as one of the most influential and potentially risky digital playgrounds in the world.
