Democrat Senator Alex Padilla got choked up and whined after he was arrested for crashing a press briefing and lunging at DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem briefed reporters on the ongoing immigration raids and riots in Los Angeles when Senator Padilla appeared to aggressively approach the podium.
“I have questions for the Secretary because the fact of the matter is half a dozen violent criminals that you’re rotating on your — hands off!” Padilla shouted as he was removed from the room.
According to the DHS, Senator Padilla was repeatedly told to back away and did not comply with officers’ commands. The Secret Service thought Padilla was an attacker.
Padilla was not wearing his Senate security pin and he did not immediately identify himself.
FBI agents forcibly removed Padilla, slammed him to the ground and cuffed him. The California Senator was immediately released.

Padilla acted like the victim after his stunt and claimed he was tackled to the ground for simply wanting to ask Noem a question.
“At one point I had a question. And so I began to ask a question. I was almost immediately forcibly removed from the room, I was forced to the ground and I was handcuffed,” Padilla said.
He conveniently forgot to mention that he barged into the briefing room and lunged at Kristi Noem without identifying himself.
