Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) on Thursday denied that she stormed the Delaney Hall Detention Center with other Democratic lawmakers last week and claimed that Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ), who assaulted officers, was defending herself.
The incident is currently under investigation by the DOJ, and members of congress are weighing a resolution to censure the lawmakers.
The Democrat Congress members stormed into the facility in Newark, New Jersey, where aliens are being housed without following protocols, and a confrontation with police ensued.
Video from the incident clearly shows Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver screaming at and physically assaulting federal agents by shoving them and hitting them with her body repeatedly. Bonnie Watson Coleman, New Jersey Rep. Robert Menendez, and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka were also there, fighting for the release of dangerous criminal aliens.
Baraka was arrested on Friday for his involvement in the lawlessness.
Despite being filmed attacking police officers, Coleman claims that McIver “didn’t touch them.” She then conceded, “She may have, like, pushed away to get them off of her, but she didn’t body slam anybody,” adding, “it’s a bunch of crap that they would think that a member of Congress would do something like that.”
Coleman claimed McIver was “saying ‘Get off me,’” and “that’s it.”
Later, when pressed on why they caused chaos and stormed the facility, Coleman claimed that they were denied access and launched into a profane, race-baiting tirade. “Bullsh*t!” she exclaimed.
“un-Americaning in an unamerican society with a unitarian government that abuses power on all levels and treats Congress members as if we are the enemy. You know who the enemy is? The enemy is the enemy of the people, and that’s the white supremacist that you’re talking about.”
Likewise, in a House hearing on Wednesday, Coleman went off on an insane, hate-filled, race-baiting tirade about the “racist attacks” from the Trump Administration when was questioning HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy. She didn’t even allow him to respond to the questions she was asking but used her entire five minutes to rant about whitey. RFK kept his composure and shut her down in hilarious fashion when her time expired.
This reporter confronted Coleman before she entered an appropriations committee hearing on Thursday morning.
