
Judge James Boasberg on Friday sided with criminal gang members and extended his temporary restraining order (TRO) in the Alien Enemies Act case until April 12.
The TRO was set to expire on March 29.
“As this Court recently explained, Plaintiffs are entitled to a TRO enjoining their removal at least until they have had a chance to challenge that they are covered by the Proclamation,” Judge Boasberg wrote.
The DC Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday denied the Trump DOJ’s request to lift Judge Boasberg’s block on the Alien Enemies Act deportation flights.
The three judge panel on the DC Circuit Court: Henderson (George W. Bush appointee), Millett (Obama appointee), and Walker (Trump appointee) voted 2-1 – with Judge Walker dissenting.
