President Trump will deliver his first address of his second term to a joint session of Congress tonight in what’s expected to outrage Democrats as the President recaps his historic first six weeks in office.
The new U.S. president typically addresses a Joint Session of Congress shortly after taking office, delivering what is informally known as the “State of the Union Address” or an “Address to a Joint Session of Congress.” However, this is not the official State of the Union, which is usually delivered in subsequent years.
When President Trump entered the House chamber for his joint session of Congress, one Democrat (we are working on her name) flashed a “this is not normal” sign as he walked by.
Democrats think this is clever. It’s not. It’s just weird.
This nasty stunt ended when GOP lawmaker snatched her sign and tossed it into the air.
