President Trump fulfilled another campaign promise and signed an executive order halting federal funding to schools with Covid vaccine mandate.
“I will not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate,” Trump said while campaigning last year.
Earlier Friday, Breitbart News exclusively reported that Trump was expected to sign an order pausing funds for schools and universities that have Covid vaccine mandates.
“The order would prohibit “federal funds from being used to support or subsidize an educational service agency, state education agency, local education agency, elementary school, secondary school, or institution of higher education that requires students to have received a COVID-19 vaccination to attend in-person education programs,” it reads,” Breitbart reported.
“Okay, that solves that problem,” Trump said as he held up the signed executive order.
President Trump confirmed that his new order will go through the Department of Education and the Department of Human Health and Services.

Trump’s order is in stark contrast to the Biden vaccine mandate.
In 2021, Joe Biden signed an executive order that forced all federally funded schools and universities to mandate COVID-19 vaccines.
Biden also used OSHA to force his COVID-19 vaccine mandates on employers with more than 100 employees.
